Through academic learning and research, community programming and collaboration, UBC Farm strives to contribute to the understanding of agroforestry principals and the significance of a triple bottom line approach that values ecological, economic and community benefits.
Given the 24 ha mosaic of cultivated fields and second growth forest, UBC Farm is an ideal location for regional demonstration of agroforestry practices and a hub for learning and extension.
Many people are involved with agroforestry at the farm. This includes UBC Farm staff, UBC faculty and students, researchers, volunteers and community program participants.
We welcome you to come by the farm and check out our agroforestry demonstrations or contact us for more information.
